Pastor's Bio

I came to the Parish of Jedburgh and Oxnam as a probationary minister in August 2024.

During my time here, the Churches of Jedburgh and Oxnam linked with Ale and Teviot.

After completing my 15-month probation, I knew I was called to this united Charge to serve as their Minister of Word and Sacrament.

I was ordained and inducted into the Parish of Jedburgh and Oxnam linked with Ale and Teviot on the 6th November 2025.

I am passionate about youth engagement, pastoral care and building connections with the community. I love working with the local schools and other Churches in the area. I enjoy visiting the Day Centre and the care homes and appreciate the opportunities to take the Gospel message into these places as well.

I have completed Church placements in various towns of the borders including Melrose, Peebles and Hawick. It is a blessing to finally be serving where I feel truly called.

It is important to me that our Churches are a place of welcome to families, children and all ages. A place where everyone feels part of God’s family. I especially enjoy running messy Church as I feel this is a great way of interacting and engaging with the community, as well as offering a style of worship that is fun, relaxed and enjoyable!

Prior to becoming a Church of Scotland minister, I was a pharmacist in the town of Jedburgh for almost 9 years. It is lovely to minister in a place where I already feel deeply connected to the people.

Outside of Church life, I am a keen runner and have completed various marathons. I have a love for horses; I have two of my own, although I don’t get the opportunity to ride as much as I used to.

My family also keeps me busy; my husband Gareth is a pharmacist. We have two young children called Martha and Henry.

It is my joy to serve this community, walking alongside people in all seasons of life, sharing in worship, prayer and the journey of faith.

We welcome and encourage anyone who feels they would like to reach out for conversation, pastoral support or to get involved with Church life.

I trust that in this place, all may find hope and encouragement.
