Pastors Bio

Frank & Alexis Campbell

Frank, born in 1957, comes from a background of business administration but, following his call to the ministry, was ordained in 1989 to a church in Irvine, Ayrshire, where he was greatly blessed by meeting and marrying Alexis, and inheriting three children!

The family moved to the Borders in 1991, initially to Ancrum Parish Church, with the subsequent addition of the parishes of Lilliesleaf [1994] and Crailing & Eckford [1999]. The congregations were united in 2004, the same year as Frank became Clerk to the Presbytery of Jedburgh.

In addition to their three now grown-up children – Lisa, Laura & Alistair – Alexis and Frank also have two grandchildren, Connor & Amy.

Alexis has a background in the food industry and in late 2014 launched a new business venture, a takeaway food outlet, The Old Mill Kitchen, in Selkirk.

Frank is a non-league football referee and linesman, and is also interested in trains and buses of all shapes and sizes.
